Chassis Goes Black

The rear cross-member has been etch primed and sprayed with matt black enamel. It looks really smooth and high quality. the rest has been painted with Hammerite Underbody Seal (brushable Schutz), which is a mixture of Waxoil and bitumen. It doesn’t look great, but I prefer it to a bare galvanised chassis, and it offers more protection.
