Back on the SVO

I’ll be returning to using Straight Veg Oil as soon as the vehicle is running again - the Tdi has done nearly 2,000 miles now, so is reasonably well run in. The price of diesel is getting terrible - £1.25 per liter is an average price this week, but UK fuel prices are going up 2-3% per week.
The cheapest I can find SVO at the moment is on-line at Tesco. It works out at 80p per litre, which is over 40% dearer than a year ago, but still over 35% cheaper than diesel. I bought 25 3litre bottles, which made the delivery truck driver pretty curious!

Hi i’m just converting my series III 88 to svo and the cheepest price i’ve been told of is 53pence from booker, a little cheeper than tesco
