Nick's Land Rover - Series III rebuild and restoration
A site dedicated to my tinkering with my 1972 Series III Land Rover
The procedures and methods mentioned on this site are purely what have and haven't worked for me. I make no guarantees about whether they'll work for you!
where will i find the instructions for this kit need them asap
and also is this kit difficult to fit ?
There are no instructions for the kit, or at least I have never seen them. The post where I fitted the bar can be found here in the early bodywork section of the blog: http://www.nickslandrover.co.uk/tubbulkhead-alignment/. Xo excuse the typing errors! The kit isn’t hard to fit if you don’t mind leaving the rivet joint flanges protruding from the rear wheel arches, but is a little fiddlier if you want to remove them as you will have to fit new stitch plates underneath. None of it is complicated. The hardest job is cutting out the redundant part of the bulkhead.
