Doors

No progress on the headlining; I’m still waiting for delivery of the seat belt anchor brackets.

I have fitted the doors (with Helena and Alun’s help). Helena and I did the rear door last night, complete with the lock and door stay. I have put the spare wheel on just to clear the space in the garage (it’ll get a repaint with the other rims). Alun helped me with the front doors tonight. The driver’s door went straigt in without needing a single adjustment, and lines up perfectly. The passenger door needed a little fiddling, and though the mid-height radius doesn’t quite match that of the bulkhead, it lines up perfectly with the wing and tub (I think the bulkhead was made with a slight misalignment). The front door still need their stricker pins and stays fitting, but that won’t take much effort. they’re secured with bungies for the moment to prevent the doors opening and hitting the walls.
