I fitted the clutch slave cylinder and all the pipes, assembles the rear door hinges and fitted them to the rear door with the new stainless bolts, fitted the front door hinges to the bulkhead with more stainless, re-sprayed the wing mirror arms in satin black and fitted them to the upper hinges, and finished the fuel system.
The fuel system work revolved around fitting the selector tap assemblies and making up the required hoses. There are ten hoses in all aft of the bulkhead, so care has to be taken over which tap union they’re connected to, but it all works correctly. All that remains is to knock up some fuel guage sender wires to connect the front tank senders to the tap switches.
I also cleaned up the front windscreen frame and glass retaining strips after removing the old glass. I sprayed the frame’s exterior matt black and fit the new tinted glass.
