Nearly all back from the painter

I collected the remaining front door, Jerry can locker doors, tub locker lid and fuel tank inspection panel from the painter. I need to hire another van to collect the hard top sides and roof, but they’re complete. The sides will need polishing to remove a few runs and still show the traces of some of the old dents – the only way that could have been avoided was to buy new sides, but that would have been excessive and against my desire to retain as much of the vehicle as reasonably possible. I’ll try to collect them next Monday (my next day off). Once they’re on, the doors, sun roof and windows can be fitted, clearing a lot more garage space and also givinga waterproof environment that will allow me to fit the interior trim, seats and wiring.
