Got the bonnet and seat base back from painting. The door and vent flap aren’t good enough, so will be redone.
I got my electrical bits from VWP, so have modified the new plastic headlamp bowls and used the backs of the old bowls to make the bulbs accessible from under the wing.
I should be able to fit the bonnet and front lighting assemblys tomorrow, perhaps even the front wheelarch spats. I’ll get the grille panel done over the weekend (that’ll involve making up some brackets for the slam-panel braces and trimming a bit more off the bottom of the grille panel to clear the winch).
