Roof Goes for Paint/Tub Collected

tub onThe roof went in and I collected the tub.

I had a rush of jobs to complete before the tub could be fitted – the rear prop shafte needed refitting and Schutzing, the reversing sensor mounts needed priming and painting, the rear step needed drilling and tapping to take the sensors, the chequer plate had to be fitted to the rear wings (cross-member
mounted protectors would prevent fitting in-situ), the 3rd row seat belt stalk mountings had to be fitted, and a few other bits and pieces too…

I got most of it done, but was unable to fit the inner parking sensors in time, so the tub has been chocked at the rear to allow me to install the sensor wiring tomorrow.

The paint is pretty good. It’ll benefit from machine polishing once panel assembly is completed – there is a touch of an orange peel effect and
a couple of runs, but once polished it should be immaculate.
