Winch Mount Mods

The winch plate has been cut to fit. The bolt holes will now accept the bumper bolts (rather than a second set of bolts 45mm ahead of the bumper bolts as per Bearmach’s fitment), so the mount will be secured directly to the chassis. This was achieved by removing the strip from the underside which nestled against the front of the bumper (seen infront of the mount), allowing the mount to sit further back. The front edge of the bumper will now be along the red line, as opposed to the silver line left by removal of the offending strip. The corners ahead of the bolt holes were also removed to clear the bullbar feet. There is still plenty of material to provide full winching capability (the material removed was unstressed). It has now been etch primed and painted black.
