The wings are done. The outer panels were removed, the joint edges of the tops and fronts cleaned, sanded and etch primed, the new outers bolted up (with copious amounts of copper grease on each bolt and washer to prevent corrosion), and the undersides given a thorough Schutz covering, especially around the seams and fasteners. The black of the new skins is a cathodic primer applied by Land Rover, and it’s very tough.
