Axles
Here are some pictures of the swapped rear axle. It looks just the same as before except for one key point; the spring shackle now sits on the correct side of vertical, rather than hanging forwards, so I know thwe suspension now has it’s correct geometry.
Steering Swap

It only took a day to remove the rear axle (with the chassis on stands), swap the brake assemblies over, wire brush and paint the ’72 axle.
