Battery Mount Fitted

I have finished painting the twin battery mount and fully bolted it in position. The unit is suprisingly firm. I just need to cut some of my aluminium sheet to form a floor for it. Alun plans to make up some battery fasteners using some 2mm steel bar bent into a U shape with M6 studs welded to the tops of the U, forming the bottom and sides of the clamps – a length of steel angle and some wingnuts will form the top of each clamp.
