The bonnet is finished. I collected the powder coated chequer plate panels this afternoon. They look great – matt black with a slight texture and sparkle, identical to the wheelarch spats. I have applied 3mm neoprene sheet to the backs, and will rivet them in place with ss pop rivets.
I also replaced the front light lenses with clear, using ss screws. I couldn’t resist applying the grille panel sticker!
