Propshafts

I have chosen a path of action for the prop shaft difficulties caused by the combination of HD parabolics on 1-ton suspension settings. The front prop will be replaced with a long travel custom length unit from Gon2Far. The fouling of the rear prop will be remedied bu cutting away the bottom of the middle x-member hole and welding in a deeper U-section made of 8mm steel while retaining the standard prop. I had looked at the possibility of narrow diameter props, or fitting a prop with a double-cardan joint at the gearbox end, but both were unfeasable and very expensive. Modifying the chassis has the benefits of cost, mechanical simplicity, maintained robustness and easy sourcing of replacement props in the future.
