I’m delighted to announce the arrival of the Nick Boylen Heritage Edition celebrating 40 years of blind refusal to accept defeat in the face of quality British workmanship.
The 40th Anniversary Nick Boylen Heritage Edition has all the usual extras found in normal Land Rover owners such as unfounded optimism and a substantial discount at their local Land Rover parts suppliers – but also features boundless energy (tea-powered) and 15 years supply of Tigerseal.
Even at 40 the Nick Boylen Heritage Edition still represents the pinnacle of British engineering prowess and still has excellent handling ability and is surprisingly low maintenance needing only occasional cups of tea and 15 minutes in the warm before it is ready for another 5 hours in the garage.
When not actually on the road the Nick Boylen Heritage Edition can be found diligently researching further expenditure in various magazines, on internet fora or, during the summer months can be found rummaging through boxes of rusty tat in muddy fields at Land Rover shows.
Either way, when you see the warning lightbulb light up on your Nick Boylen Heritage Edition it is probably advisable to tear up your credit cards and change the pin number on your ATM card (sensible precaution) or if the wallet is already out then feigning labour, broken legs or Bubonic plague may be your only solution.
Unfortunately there is currently only one Nick Boylen Heritage Edition available and that one’s already mine.
Happy Birthday Nick.
Happy Birthday Nick!

Nice write-up Helena, hope to get up and see your 90 before too long.
