Finished Rear Matting

I have finished fitting the rear tub matting and corner strips. I also finally fitted the rivnuts for the rear fuel tank inspection panel in the tub floor and bolted it down with countersunk M6 bolts. The next job in the tub will be fitting the second row seats.

Battery Mount Fitted

I have finished painting the twin battery mount and fully bolted it in position. The unit is suprisingly firm. I just need to cut some of my aluminium sheet to form a floor for it. Alun plans to make up some battery fasteners using some 2mm steel bar bent into a U shape with M6 […]

Tub Matting

A busy day with various jobs around the house, so I’ve only done a small amount more on the rear tub mat, mainly fitting some black PVC angle to trim the corners. I’ve used stainless steel screws to secure the lengths. I hope to do some more tomorrow and fit the battery tray.
